Thank you so much for booking with me and trusting me in capturing your family.
I have created this welcome guide with all the information you need to get ready for your session.
I want to make sure that you feel relaxed, comfortable and know how everything will work ahead of time, so you don’t need to stress or worry about it.
You make the fun choice, relax and sit back while Ii take over and make sure that you and your family shine on the day.
How to prep ?
In the lead up of our session, get the kids excited about what’s about to come, show them photos I’ve taken, let them know how excited you are, that will be playing fun games and that we will have a great time.
tip 1 : I recommend to not tell them or bribe them with something fun happening after, or avoiding the classic "if you do this, then i will give you that". because it set the child with a mentality that the "fun" part is after and not the photoshoot. And I strive to make the session fun and enjoyable for kids.
I will create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, allowing genuine moments to unfold naturally, so neither the children nor you have the feeling that you need to act for photos.
There are lots of variables in family sessions that are beyond our control, specially when photographing kids, i’ve learned relatively quickly that every plan is contingent on their mood, but snacks are an almost fail-safe mood booster for the little ones (and lots of adults I know too !).
Packing a stash of treats to bust out right when the kids need that slice of motivation buys us a lot of precious time and cooperation.
If you wear them or the location calls for it, bring some jackets or hats or other items that reflect this time in your life. If your children want to bring their favourite stuffed toy or wear their favourite rain boots, let them ! Authenticity is in the details !
During cold and winter days, kids can quickly get cold and tired and that will definitely contribute to a bad mood, so make sure you get some extra clothes, jumpers and blankets to wrapped them up if they get cold or wet.

For your photography experience I have carefully hand selected some locations to ensure they compliment the cinematic and candid vision we aim to achieve.
The ideal setting for a cinematic session is one that offers a captivating backdrop with a sense of depth, texture and atmosphere, natural landscape such a serene beach, picturesque rest meadows or the sunset over a lake that provide a visually striking canvas that will enhances the cinematic effect of your gallery.
Whether is a lovely meadow or a sunrise at the beach, or the warmth of your home. The best location for our photoshoot is the one that resonate with your personal style and vision.
I will work closely with you to select a location that reflects your vision ensuring an unforgettable experience and breathtaking images that you’ll cherish for years to come.

While planning what to wear , opt for outfits that are comfortable and allow for ease of moment, as our session will focus on capturing authentic moments and interactions.
consider selecting a color palette with coordinating tones rather than perfectly matching outfits, as this creates visual interest without appearing too uniform.
Earthy tones, soft neutrals, and mutes pastels often work well for outdoor sessions.
Avoid busy patternsor logos that may distract from the overall aesthetic of the images we are trying to create, opt for textures and subtle details that add depth and dimension to your look.

what to expect on the day ?
On the day of our session, I will begin by creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, and will spend some time connecting with the children to allow genuine moments to unfold naturally.
My documentary-style approach means you can expect prompts and direction that will enable authentic interactions and emotions for me to capture. Whether it’s laughter, playful antics or tender moments, my goal is to preserve the true essence e of your family dynamic.
With a passion for cinematic storytelling, I want to incorporate beautiful compositions that will elevate each image into a work of art.

In order for me to create truly authentic photographs that capture the essence of your family, it’s important to let yourselves be natural and candid, and play along with prompts and guidance I may share during the photoshoot.
My goal is to document genuine moments and emotions that reflect the unique you, this means embracing spontaneity and allowing yourselves to interact organically with each other and your surroundings.
Instead of rigid poses and forced expression, I encourage you to simply be you and enjoy the experience with your children. Laugh, play, cuddle and share some tender moments without worrying about the camera.

our timeline
1. select location + wardrobe
While you have access to our location guide and client wardrobe.
Your final selection is due 14 days before our session.
In the meantime, please feel free to ask any questions or request for a tailored styling by me.
2. select your photo package
Your session fee has been paid but that fee doesn't include images.
Please have a look to our photo packages.
An email will come 7 days before our session to confirm wardrobe, location, personal details and the photo package selected.
But don't worry, if you are unsure of how many images you want to get, you will always be able to upgrade once you have received your gallery !
3. our session
I will send you a little text message the night before, just to again confirm anything.
If anyone is sick or something has change and you need to reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible, so we can reschedule to a convienient date.
On the day, will have a wonderful time together and capture some amazing memories.
4. gallery + products
your gallery will take up to 3 weeks to be finalise.
but do not worry, I will send you a text message as soon as I send it your way, to make sure it's all good on your end.
from there, you are welcome to enjoy the photos selected, upgrade your package and order som products, whether is prints, frames, albums or gifts.

Before your photoshoot, please select one of my image packages. Each package includes a set number of high-resolution images that you can download from your gallery.
Don’t worry if you can’t choose upfront!
After you receive your gallery, you’ll have the option to upgrade to a larger package to access additional images. This way, you can pick the perfect amount for your needs and expand later if you wish.
