Editorial Portraits
CREATIVE & TIMELESS experience
1. THE CONCEPT
The concept for this 30 minute editorial portrait session is to capture you with a polished and sophisticated flair, inspired by editorial magazine photography. My goal is to create striking portraits that could grace the pages of high-end magazine. Emphasing on elegant poses, a touch of editorial storytelling. This session aims to create visually compelling images with a touch of creativity in a relatively short time frame.
2. My APPROCH
I adopt a editorial-style approach, characterised by a clean, polished look. Focusing on strong composition, interesting angles, and creative lighting to highlight your features. Emphasising poses that exude confidence and elegance.
4.THE EXPERIENCE
I divide the 30 minutes session into different segments, allowing for a variety of moments to be captured:
5 minutes - Introduction and Warm up : I begin with some casual conversation to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. If the moment is right, I also capture spontaneous interactions during this time.
5 minutes - warm up shots : Begin the session with some warm-up shots to help the you relax and get used to being in front of the camera.
Experiment with different poses and angles to find what works best for the client
15 minutes - Portraits : Once comfortable, we transition into the main shooting phase. Focusing on capturing a variety of poses and expressions that align with the your vision for the portraits.
I Use creative lighting techniques, props, and backdrops to add visual interest to the photos.
5 minutes - Closing Moments : I conclude the session by capturing any final spontaneous interactions or moments that arise, providing a natural and heartfelt conclusion to the session.
By focusing on an editorial and creative vision, this session aims to create a series of creative and sophisticated images that capture the subject's personality and elegance, drawing inspiration from the world of editorial photography.
5.POST-PROCESSING
in post-processing, enhance the editorial look by refining color tones, adjusting contrast, and fine-tuning details. Consider applying a consistent color grade to create a cohesive visual style reminiscent of high-end editorial publications.
During the editing process we go through a culling step, where we get rid of blurry photos, bad poses or bad angles and such (which they are expected and we work counting on them, specially with kids) . Once you receive the gallery, you will be able to select the photos that you want to keep and be able to download (watermark free).
6.THE GALLERY
After our session, I will share some sneak peaks on my social media (if consented). And you will receive your gallery in the following 3 weeks. Your gallery will be delivered online, and will contain all edited photos from our session. We do an excellent job in providing all good photos in the gallery for you to choose.
